Since 1981, Replas has been providing plastic injection moulding services to customers across a wide range of industries. As experienced plastic injection moulders, we manufacture components ranging from simple everyday products through to more complex technical mouldings, supporting both established product lines and new developments.
Our facility is equipped with 16 injection moulding machines ranging from 25 to 380 tonnes, allowing us to produce components up to 1.1kg. This flexibility enables us to support everything from prototype and low-volume production through to high-volume manufacturing programmes producing millions of parts each year.
One of the advantages of working with an independent plastic moulder is flexibility. We are not focused solely on high-volume production, nor do we require customers to fit into a rigid process. Some customers require a few hundred mouldings per year, whilst others need regular large-scale production. Both are equally important to us.
Many of the enquiries we receive involve existing tooling. In some cases, customers are looking to transfer tools from another supplier due to service, quality or delivery issues. We have extensive experience assessing tooling, supporting transfers and identifying opportunities to improve tooling performance without the expense of manufacturing new tools.
Alongside moulding, we provide practical support throughout the lifecycle of a product. From design for manufacture guidance and prototype development through to assembly, ultrasonic welding, leak testing and packaging, we help customers streamline production and reduce supply chain complexity where possible.
Our in-house tool room plays an important role in supporting production, allowing tooling maintenance, repairs and modifications to be carried out quickly. This helps minimise downtime and provides greater control over production schedules.
